Totara – ILX module not tracking from IE11 on Totara 2.6 / Moodle 2.6

Had some problems with a module provided by ILX (v1.0.1r26) not tracking from IE in Totara 2.6.14 (Moodle 2.6.6). After some clowning around:

• suspend_data worked fine in Firefox 34.05 and Chrome 39.02
• suspend_data worked fine in IE11 provided:
  • the learning opened in a new(simple) window
  • Compatibility view was turned on.

Not a seamless fix but it’ll do until the vendor can supply files that work properly in IE.
